About the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio isn’t your average high-performance sport utility vehicle. Incredible performance, cutting-edge technology, and bespoke Italian craftsmanship combine to create a vehicle that will take your breath away every time you press the “Start” button. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is the fastest SUV available in the United States*, with 505 thundering, stampeding horsepower under the hood. It’s not all brawn, though – there’s brains in there, too. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, as well as premium audio from Harman Kardon®. In addition, a suite of standard and available driver assistance technology looks out for you at every turn and helps to keep you safe on the road. Despite all of this performance and technology, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio remains a functional, comfortable machine for daily commuting or road trips. In short, you’re looking at the total package when it comes to high-performance SUVs.

What’s New for 2024

Changes to the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio are mostly minor for the 2024 model year. To commemorate 100 years of Alfa Romeo, a limited-production 100th Anniversary Edition variant has been released. Restricted to just 100 units worldwide, these models feature serialized badging both inside and out, gold-painted brake calipers, and unique alloy wheels. The other major update for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio comes in the form of new LED headlights and taillights for improved visibility.

What the Critics Say

The most impressive trait of this hot crossover—along with its stunning body—is an ethereal chassis that rides as well as it turns. A set of standard adaptive dampers allows you to select the firmness of the ride, but only the bumpiest roads diminish the ride quality. Otherwise, the Stelvio QF corners with remarkable poise and rewards the driver with communicative steering feedback.” – Car and Driver
This powertrain is the Quadrifoglio’s single greatest attribute. Passionate and powerful, the Stelvio is one of the raciest SUVs around. The best way to experience the Quadrifoglio is in its Dynamic or Race drive modes, where the engine and transmission are on full attack. It takes just 3.6 seconds for the Stelvio to accelerate to 60 mph, and the Quadrifoglio launches hard.” – Roadshow by CNET

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Features

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifolgio Performance

Earth-Shattering Performance

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio can reach 60 miles per hour in just 3.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 176 miles per hour. Even though this is an SUV, it still offers sports car thrills thanks to its impeccable handling. In fact, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is one of the few vehicles that can boast an ideal 50/50 weight distribution between front and rear, resulting in impressive poise and balance while cornering. The 2.9-liter, 24-valve twin-turbo V6 engine produces 505 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive with a torque vectoring twin-clutch rear differential means that all of the power gets to the pavement. Need even more power? The overboost function delivers additional power for a short time, and also initiates Race Mode, which opens the exhaust up and utilizes a performance-oriented stability control program. For extra stopping power, Brembo high-performance brakes are an optional upgrade. Despite the fact that this is still a comfortable, capable, and roomy SUV, make no mistake – the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is a high-performance machine at heart.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Interior

Driver-Focused Cockpit

The cockpit of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is designed to keep you, the driver, comfortable and in control at all times. The standard 8.8-inch touchscreen display handles all of your infotainment duties, as well as navigation functions. The start-stop button is mounted on the flat-bottom steering wheel for a race-inspired feel, while 14-way heated leather and alcantara sport seats keep you planted during hard cornering and relaxed on long road trips. Aluminum paddle shifters are mounted on the steering wheel for additional control, and a 14-speaker, 900-watt Harman Kardon® premium sound system lets you enjoy your favorite songs with unmatched audio fidelity. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is packed with standard driver assistance features, including active blind-spot assist, active cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic high beams.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Design

Italian Design & Craftsmanship

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio may be the first high-performance SUV from Alfa Romeo, but it’s still instantly identifiable to fans of the brand. The styling is thoroughly modern, but still evokes the timeless traits of classic Alfa Romeo models, including the trademark vertical grille and four-leaf clover fender badge. The 20-inch wheels show off the prominent brakes, and the ventilated hood lends an aggressive – and functional – look. However, it’s what’s inside that counts. A roomy interior that is as comfortable as it is functional is an important part of the appeal of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio. In addition to the technology features mentioned in the previous section, it’s worth noting the high-end materials used in the stylish interior. Carbon fiber, aluminum, leather, and alcantara all have a home inside the Stelvio Quadrifoglio.

Stelvio Quadrifoglio Tackles the Nürburgring

The Nürburgring Nordschleife is one of the most legendary racing circuits in the world. Dubbed the “Green Hell,” the track measures 12.9 miles, and contains 154 corners with more than 1,000 feet of elevation change from the lowest point to the highest. It’s not a track for the faint of heart, as it tests both cars and their drivers to the edge of stress and skill. Watch the Stelvio Quadrifoglio hustle around the Nürburgring in the very capable hands of Alfa Romeo factory test driver Fabio Francia and set a record lap time of 7:51.7.
